Free download V-Ray 3.40.01 for 3ds Max 2014-2016

V-Ray — a powerful visualization tool that supports depth of field — Depth of Field, the effect of "blur" in motion — Motion Blur, displacement map, with increasing detail of three-dimensional objects. A light source, a system of sun-sky for realistic lighting with natural light and the physical camera parameters similar to a real photo and video cameras.

Features
• V-Ray for 3ds Max allows users to quickly and easily create realistic images while giving them full control over the 3D process.
• System Vray Proxy allows miscalculation extremely large arrays of similar objects consisting of total tens of billions of polygons.
• Built-in shaders provide the user with wide possibilities to simulate virtually any material.
• V-Ray SDK allows both to program their own shaders, and adapt the system for specific tasks.
• The ability to calculate the individual picture elements in the form of channels such as Depth, Diffuse color, alpha, Reflection, Refraction, Shadows, and others.
• Provides greater freedom in post-processing packages composing and installation.
• V-Ray for 3ds Max is the most complete instrumentation lighting and shading.
• Latest version, more powerful feature set, technical advances and support for open source.
• VR Cameras — two new VR cameras to display stereo cube maps and spherical stereo image.

• Simplified user interface, which includes 3 modes: Basic, Advanced and expert. Modes can be switched at any time to reveal additional controls. By default, the main mode is designed to meet the needs of most artists daily production work.
• New Skin Shader — a dedicated, intuitive skin Shader with layered lights will make it easier than ever for artists to create complex, layered skin.
• Probabilistic Lights – increases the speed of scenes with lots of lights. Probability sampling light reduces the number of lights evaluated at render time.
• Progressive rendering or video processing built on the same trace technology as V-Ray RT and it is a simple, intuitive solution for any scene. Progressive rendering is compatible with all features of the production V-Ray, including illuminance, light cache, SSS, render elements, etc.
• Faster ray tracing — V-Ray introduces a significantly optimized ray tracing core and acceleration calculations for Brute Force GI, progressive path tracing, reflections, refractions, and more.
• Quick settings provide artists for the production of ready-made presets and quality control simply to display in a single, compact interface.
• Advanced frame buffer V-Ray is essential to artists ' workflows. V-Ray was extended to use a variety of color definitions including LUTs (.cube), ICC Profiles (.icc), and OpenColorIO (.ocio). By default V-Ray configured for linear workflow, making it easier to ensure accurate color.
• Display the mask — render mask uses the object selection, include / exclude list, or texture map to control the exact pixels to render.
• V-Ray introduces faster rendering speeds (up to 15x) and view-dependent tessellation that automatically smoothes hair curves.
• Secondary rays to remove noise generated by very bright sources. This removes the artifacts while preserving the dynamic range.
• VRmats (formerly Vismats) are universal V-Ray shaders for use in other applications. For example a VRmat models can be created in V-Ray for 3ds Max and transferred directly to V-Ray for Maya.

What's new:

• New V-Ray Denoiser:
Automatically remove noise and cut render times by up to 50% with the new V-Ray Denoiser. V-Ray’s denoising technology is non-destructive, giving you the original render and the denoised version for even more control in post. Denoising can be used progressively while rendering or after rendering, with support for animation and enhanced blending between frames with the standalone denoiser tool.
• Works with 3ds Max 2017:
V-Ray 3.4 adds support for 3ds Max 2017 including initial support for the new Physical Material and HiDPI scaling of the V-Ray Frame Buffer. V-Ray RT now supports MultiTile and ColorMap.
• GPU rendering improvements:
Supports bump maps with procedural noise.
Supports orthographic cameras
Track GPU memory usage directly in the V-Ray Frame Buffer
• Aerial Perspective:
Control the color of atmospheric haze.
• VR cameras:
Now with support for top/bottom VR output
• Faster Global Illumination:
V-Ray Light Cache calculations are up to 15% faster.
• V-Ray RT improvements:
Update render regions without restarting the render.
• Improved GTR/ GGX:
Improved performance and no "fireflies" when using GTR/GGX materials.
• V-Ray Frame Buffer updates:
Added option to automatically save completed images only to render history.
Added option to keep the VFB history folder relative to project path.
