Creation of models has never been easier. Intuitive drawing commands allow you to quickly generate floor plans and sections. Construction drawings from the CAD system can be converted directly into ETABS model objects. Advanced 64-bit design - SAPFire allows you to quickly count a huge and complex models, including taking into account physical and geometric nonlinearity, and other effects. 

Multi mode 

• ETABS is a single user interface to perform operations for modeling, calculation, design and reporting. Manager, model" opens a quick access objects, their properties, and tables contained in the model. 

• In ETABS there is no limit on the number of simultaneously opened model views and other Windows. 

Modeling 

• Templates. To quickly create a new model in ETABS offers a wide range of templates. During the configuration phase of the template parameters the user is able to define mesh parameters, magnitude, spans, number and height of floors, cross sections of the elements, default, thickness and type of slabs, walls, and the load on the ceiling (permanent and temporary useful). 

• Types of models. View and manage your design scheme with high accuracy. Plans and sections are generated automatically for each line of the grid. Simple definition of user types and horizontal incisions to view and manage the geometry. 

• The estimated scheme shows a finite element model of the structure, which consists of a set of nodes, cores, shells, and divided into finite elements.

Drawing tools

Plans and sections 

• Plans and sections are automatically generated on each axis of the grid. Users can create their own incisions using Custom Cut. 

• For quick navigation between plans and sections, there are buttons. A translucent plane in the 3D view shows you exactly what floor or what the breakdown is displayed on the flat view of the model. 

• Custom slits can be of any cutting line. It is sometimes useful to create a sweep of the facade. 

Interactive editing of tables 

All ETABS data can be presented in tabular form. It is convenient to determine the model of the table or view the results of the calculation. 

Graphics hardware acceleration 

DirectX graphics with support for hardware acceleration allows you to quickly move and rotate the model.
